TxDOT will perform overnight work on SH 183 and Loop 12 through Aug. 23. Expect lane and road closures, with delays and heavy traffic affecting the surrounding highways, frontage roads and streets.
SH 183
- The eastbound SH 183 entrance ramp between Maryland Drive and Grauwyler Road will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 23.
- The westbound SH 183 frontage road entrance ramp between Tom Braniff Drive and Carl Road will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 23.
- The eastbound SH 183 Maryland Drive exit will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 23.
- The eastbound SH 183 direct connector to northbound Spur 482 will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20 through Friday, Aug. 23.
- The eastbound SH 183 direct connector to Loop 12 will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20 through Friday, Aug. 23.
Loop 12
- The southbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 23.
- The northbound Loop 12 Texas Plaza exit ramp will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 23.
- The northbound Loop 12 Frontage Road will be closed from Grauwyler Road to SH 183 nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 23.
- The southbound Loop 12 Grauwyler Road exit ramp will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 23.
- The southbound Loop 12 Union Bower exit ramp will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20 through Friday, Aug. 23.
Detours will be marked with signage. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and to slow down through construction zones.
