On September 5, 2024, Irving Police officers arrested 60-year-old Lu Yuxia for prostitution. Lu was taken into custody and booked into the Irving Jail at 3:47 p.m. The Irving Police Department has been actively targeting prostitution rings within massage parlors for several months. Following tips from residents, the department conducts undercover operations to apprehend individuals engaged in illicit activities.
Previous arrests in the ongoing crackdown include:
- 66-year-old Shaoling Luo, arrested on May 21, 2024, at 118 Spa in North Irving.
- 54-year-old Lihong Wong, arrested on June 3, 2024, at Aroma Massage Therapy on MacArthur Blvd.
- 46-year-old Eunsook Kang, arrested on March 5, 2024, in Las Colinas.
