At approximately 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 8th, Everman Fire/EMS and Tarrant County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash in the 2900 block of McPherson Road, west of Rendon Road.
Upon arrival, Everman Truck 19 and Medic 19 found a single motorcycle involved in the wreck. Life-saving measures were administered to the rider, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the motorcyclist as 76-year-old Jerry Milton Lyon from Fort Worth. Lyon lived just up the road from where the accident occurred.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
