On Monday night, September 9th, an Irving Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a driver displaying erratic behavior. Upon interacting with the driver, the officer determined that the driver, identified as 30-year-old Noe Daniel Garza, was intoxicated. A further investigation revealed that Garza was wanted in Denton County for Aggravated Assault.
Garza was taken into custody and booked into the Irving Jail at 11:43 PM. He faces charges of DWI 2nd, confirmed through a blood test, as well as an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon issued by the Denton County Sheriff's Office for an incident in April 2024. In that incident, Garza attempted to flee but was arrested on April 12th by Texas Department of Public Safety officers in Tarrant County. He was released on bond but failed to appear in court.
