On August 30, 2024, 37-year-old Pablo Dejesus-Cruz of Dallas was found Guilty by a Dallas County court for the charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The incident dates back to April 14, 2018. Child Protective Services and Dallas Children's Advocacy Center were involved in this case.
In the punishment phase, the State put on the stand an additional victim of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
The Judge sentenced Dejesus-Cruz to life in prison. Dejesus-Cruz is an illegal immigrant. The case was prosecuted by Dallas County District Attorneys Janie Martinez and Aryanna Bradford.
