Irving Police Arrest Suspect in Vehicle Burglary Case

On Monday morning, October 28, Irving Police dispatch received a report of a man potentially breaking into vehicles. Officers responded promptly and located 46-year-old Derek Ray McAlister, taking him into custody without incident. McAlister was booked into the Irving Jail at 10:18 a.m., charged with Burglary of Vehicles. Authorities also discovered he had an open warrant for a traffic violation from the Grand Prairie Police Department.
