On Sunday afternoon, a car fire at Hicks Airfield in Northwest Fort Worth sent a large plume of smoke into the sky, visible from surrounding areas. Fortunately, no one was inside the vehicle, and no injuries or additional property damage were reported. The Fort Worth Fire Department, along with Haslet Fire Rescue and Saginaw Fire Department, responded promptly and successfully extinguished the fire.
