Homeless Man Arrested After Break-In at Church-Owned Building in South Irving

On Tuesday, October 29, around 8:01 a.m., Irving Police officers responded to a break-in report on the 1100 block of E. Sixth St. in South Irving. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a man had broken a plate glass window and entered a building clearly marked as "Church Property," owned by Berean Memorial Church.

Officers located and identified the suspect as Robert Devin Hackman, a 26-year-old homeless man. Hackman was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief to a Place of Worship. His bond has been set at $10,500, and he remains incarcerated at the Dallas County Jail.
