On Friday, November 22, 2024, at approximately 12:46 p.m., Haltom City Police responded to a major collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the 4100 block of NE 28th Street.
A 67-year-old man was struck by a westbound white passenger car traveling in the right lane. The driver of the vehicle complied with legal requirements, stopping immediately to render aid.
The injured pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
Several witnesses at the scene provided consistent statements about the incident, and police have determined there is no indication of a criminal offense.
