The Irving Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a bicyclist on Monday evening, February 24th.
The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. near W. Irving Boulevard and Alden Street, close to the El Salvador restaurant.
A man riding his bicycle was sideswiped by a vehicle, and the driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not yet made any arrests and do not have a detailed description of the suspect vehicle. The victim and witnesses were unable to provide specific information about the car.
