A Johnson County jury found 38-year-old Shawn Leslie Martin guilty of multiple child exploitation charges, including possession of child pornography, online solicitation of a person under 18 years of age, and possession/promotion of lewd visual material.
On Thursday, February 27, 2025, Martin was sentenced to the maximum 40 years in the Texas Department of Corrections. He was arrested and charged on April 10, 2024, following an investigation.
The Johnson County District Attorney's Office, the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, and the jury were commended for their work in this case.
