Two suspects linked to separate armed robberies in Lake Worth have been arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses following investigations by law enforcement agencies.
Justin Lockett-Rhodes Arrested for VIP Vapors Robbery
On December 18, 2024, Justin Lockett-Rhodes entered VIP Vapors in the 6300 block of Lake Worth Boulevard, brandished a firearm, and robbed an employee at gunpoint. Responding officers spotted Lockett-Rhodes fleeing the scene but were unable to apprehend him. Following an investigation conducted with the Fort Worth Police Department’s Robbery Unit, he was identified and taken into custody.
Lockett-Rhodes faces 16 counts of Aggravated Robbery for offenses committed across Tarrant County. He is currently being held in the Tarrant County Jail with a total bond set at $1.2 million.
Jose Estrada-Frausto Arrested for Lake Worth Market Robbery
On December 28, 2024, Jose Estrada-Frausto entered Lake Worth Market in the 6000 block of Lake Worth Boulevard, armed with a firearm, and robbed an employee at gunpoint. Detectives identified Estrada-Frausto, and with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety, he was arrested without incident.
Estrada-Frausto faces four counts of Aggravated Robbery, in addition to eight other offenses throughout Tarrant County. He remains in custody at the Tarrant County Jail with a total bond set at $722,500.
