On Monday, March 10, 2025, Fort Worth police arrested a suspect following a pursuit that began after authorities responded to a report of a deceased woman at a residence.
Just after 6:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of Stockton Drive after a caller reported that a relative claimed to have harmed his roommate at their home in the 700 block of Ipswich Avenue.
Officers went to the Ipswich location and discovered the woman deceased.
Police later saw the suspect driving near Stockton Drive and attempted to stop him, but he fled. The pursuit traveled from southwest Fort Worth to Hurst, ending along Grapevine Highway after approximately 38 minutes.
The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. Fort Worth police are investigating the case.
