22-year-old Thomas Flores Sosa of South Irving was arrested on March 14, 2025, at a Tom Thumb pharmacy in Irving on outstanding warrants for Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child – Sexual Contact from Arlington.
Irving Police Officer Leavitt received a license plate reader alert for a white Toyota Camry parked at the Tom Thumb located at 4010 N MacArthur Blvd near W. Northgate Dr. The license plate was linked to Thomas Flores Sosa, who had active warrants from Arlington.
The vehicle's registration and the warrant listed an address matching Thomas Sosa. Further investigation using Flock and Accurint indicated the vehicle was frequently seen on N MacArthur Blvd and N Story Rd, and that Thomas Sosa had a professional license as a Pharmacy Technician with an associated address at the same Tom Thumb location.
Based on this information, Officer Leavitt, with approval from Sergeant Wilhelm, entered the pharmacy. A male matching Thomas Sosa's driver's license photo identified himself as Thomas and provided his Texas driver's license.
Thomas Flores Sosa was arrested without incident and transported to the Irving Jail. He requested that his vehicle remain legally parked at the Tom Thumb.
