Irving residents can take advantage of free mulch available for pickup throughout the month of April at the Hunter Ferrell Landfill.
The city is offering the free mulch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. The Hunter Ferrell Landfill is located at 110 E. Hunter Ferrell Road.
To receive the free mulch, residents must provide proof of Irving residency. Accepted forms of identification include a driver’s license or state ID card along with a utility bill showing a matching address.
