Irving Solid Waste Services is offering a free opportunity for Irving residents to securely shred household documents and recycle unwanted electronics on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City of Irving Purchasing Building, located at 835 W. Irving Blvd.
Residents can bring up to two boxes of household documents for free on-site shredding. Proof of Irving residency is required to participate. Please note that materials from businesses will not be accepted.
The electronics recycling portion of the event will accept various items, but CRT monitors or televisions will not be accepted.
The event is scheduled to run until 2 p.m. or until the shredding truck reaches its capacity, whichever comes first.
