A tragic crash in Oak Cliff left one child dead and three others injured on Thursday afternoon, May 22, 2025.
Dallas Police and Fire-Rescue responded around 3:30 p.m. to a major accident in the 200 block of S. Marsalis Avenue. Investigators determined that three children—a 12-year-old boy and two 8-year-old girls—and one adult were struck by a vehicle at the scene.
The driver involved remained on site and is cooperating with the investigation.
All four victims were transported to a local hospital. One child succumbed to injuries. The two remaining children are listed in critical but stable condition. The adult victim is in stable condition.
The incident remains under active investigation by the Dallas Police Department.
