Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will implement multiple temporary road closures and lane reductions in the coming days and weeks to support critical construction activity, primarily affecting traffic near Terminals C and D.

Terminal C North Exit Closed May 30–June 1
From 11 p.m. Friday, May 30, through 3 a.m. Sunday, June 1, Terminal C’s North Exit to northbound International Parkway will be closed for 28 hours. All vehicles leaving Terminal C will be detoured to the South Exit. Travelers may also take the U-turn to rejoin N. International Parkway if desired.

Additionally, a right lane closure on N. International Parkway adjacent to Terminal C will accompany this work, and airport officials anticipate congestion in the area.

Terminal D North Exit Closed June 6–7
From 11 p.m. Friday, June 6, through 11 p.m. Saturday, June 7, Terminal D’s North Exit will also be closed for 24 hours. Vehicles leaving Terminal D will be rerouted through the South Exit. Similar to Terminal C, a right lane of N. International Parkway near Terminal C will remain closed, potentially affecting traffic flow.

Bridge Construction to Enhance Terminal Access
These closures are part of an ongoing project to install structural beams for new bridge access to Terminals A, B, and C. The improvements will ultimately convert terminal access from left-hand to right-hand exits. Similar upgrades have already occurred at Terminals A and B.

DFW officials advise travelers to arrive early during the affected dates and use live traffic apps to monitor conditions and allow extra travel time. Detour signage will be in place to help guide vehicles through alternate routes.
