Two Brothers Arrested in Irving for DWI, Meth Possession, and Immigration Violations

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 17, Irving Police officers conducted a traffic stop within city limits that resulted in the arrest of two brothers on multiple charges, including DWI, drug possession, and immigration violations.

The driver, identified as 30-year-old Natalio Munoz-Munoz, was found to be intoxicated. During the stop, both he and his passenger, 25-year-old Vicente Munoz-Munoz, were asked to exit the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed both were in possession of methamphetamine.

Natalio Munoz-Munoz was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with More Than Three Convictions, a felony offense. He also faces a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1/1-B Over 1 Gram. Vicente Munoz-Munoz was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1/1-B Less Than 1 Gram.

Authorities confirmed that both men are in the country illegally. They were booked on IMMIGRATION–ICE HOLD charges and turned over to federal immigration authorities.
