Lewisville Police Department (LPD) officers demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment to public safety on May 25, 2025, during a high-speed pursuit of a stolen vehicle that spanned multiple cities and ultimately concluded in Dallas.
The incident began when the Carrollton Police Department requested LPD's assistance in locating a stolen vehicle last seen near Lewisville. LPD officers successfully located the vehicle, but the driver immediately fled at a high rate of speed upon their approach.
LPD officers initiated a pursuit that required intense focus, precise coordination, and rapid decision-making. Despite the inherent risks involved in a multi-city chase, the officers maintained their pursuit, ultimately contributing to a safe resolution of the situation in Dallas.
