On the morning of Monday, June 30, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Irving Police responded to a domestic disturbance in progress at an apartment complex located in the 3400 block of W. Rochelle Road, west of N. Belt Line Road.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 30-year-old male victim that showed signs of being injured. Although the specific details of the assault were not included in the police report due to the ongoing investigation, officers determined that the suspect, 27-year-old Stephanie Sagrero, had assaulted the victim and fled the scene before police arrived.
An Irving Police unit responding to the call spotted Sagrero leaving the complex and conducted a traffic stop in the 3800 block of W. Rochelle Road. She was taken into custody and transported to the Irving Jail. Sagrero was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member with a Previous Conviction, a third-degree felony. On July 1, she was transferred to the Dallas County Jail, where she is being held on a $50,000 bond.
Records show Sagrero has a history involving the same victim. In April 2023, she was convicted of Criminal Mischief Causing Damage between $2,500 and $30,000 and received four years of probation under a plea deal. In July 2020, she was also arrested for Assault after striking and scratching the same victim. That case was dismissed in exchange for her agreement to 12 months of probation offered by the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office.
