Four Arrested in Irving on Drug and Weapon Charges in 24-Hour Span

Irving Police made multiple arrests between Thursday night, July 10, and Friday, July 11, resulting in drug and weapons charges against four individuals.

On Thursday night, officers took 24-year-old David Lara-Cruz into custody. Lara-Cruz has been charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 (cocaine). Authorities confirmed he is in the country illegally, and an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) hold was requested by INS. He was booked into the Irving Jail.

Also Thursday night, officers arrested 27-year-old Zhenya Dakota Parker. During a traffic stop, police reportedly found drugs and a weapon on Parker. He faces charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1/1-B and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. He also had open warrants from Hurst Police for Public Intoxication and four traffic violation warrants from Euless Police.

On Friday at 2:06 a.m., 34-year-old Jose Salamanca Jr. was arrested and booked into the Irving Jail on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1/1-B. He also had an open warrant from Dallas County for an unpaid speeding ticket.

Later Friday at 12:48 p.m., 22-year-old Gilbert Madrigal Jr. was arrested after being found in possession of drugs and a weapon. He was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2, Possession of Marijuana, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.

All four individuals were booked into the Irving Jail. The investigations are ongoing.
