DALLAS, Texas — At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025, Dallas Police and Fire-Rescue responded to a major accident in the 6800 block of Woodwick Drive near Camp Wisdom Road.
According to investigators, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed left the roadway and crashed into two houses. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No injuries were reported inside either of the impacted homes.
The incident remains under investigation.
