IRVING, TX – A motorcyclist died late Friday night, August 1, following a collision in the 500 block of the westbound I-635 Service Road.
According to Irving Police and Fire/EMS, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. when a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on the service road collided with the rear of a vehicle that had just pulled onto the road.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly did not see the oncoming motorcycle before the impact occurred. No charges are expected at this time.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. His identity will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
