Stabbing in Comanche Leaves Two Hospitalized, Suspect Injured Self

COMANCHE, Texas — On Sunday, August 17, 2025, at approximately 5:17 a.m., officers with the Comanche Police Department and deputies from the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence in the 200 block of North Pinto Street.

When officers arrived, they located both the suspect and the victim inside the residence. Authorities said the suspect had sustained self-inflicted injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital for medical treatment. The victim, who had also been stabbed, was taken by ambulance to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators believe the incident stemmed from a domestic violence situation. Police confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The case remains under active investigation. The Comanche Police Department expressed gratitude to the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office and emergency medical personnel for their quick response and assistance.
