CLEBURNE, Texas—An elderly woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in Cleburne on Monday afternoon.
At approximately 2:45 p.m. on August 25, Cleburne Fire/EMS, Police, and CareFlite Ground EMS responded to the 500 block of Phillips Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Emergency crews began treating the woman at the scene and called for a CareFlite helicopter. The woman was airlifted to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased from her injuries, according to records from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. She was identified as 92-year-old Mattie Grace Wickham.
The Cleburne Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
