High-Speed Chase in Irving Ends in Drug Arrest, ICE Hold for 19-Year-Old Suspect

Irving, TX – Early Sunday morning, September 7, 2025, an Irving Police officer attempted a traffic stop on a driver for a violation. Instead of pulling over, the driver sped away, leading officers on a high-speed pursuit through the city.

Multiple units joined the chase and were able to force the vehicle to stop. The suspect then ran from the car, but several officers quickly caught up and took him into custody.

A search of the vehicle uncovered a large quantity of drugs, packaged in a way consistent with distribution. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Carlo Uriel Reynoso, was booked into the Irving Jail at 6:27 a.m. He faces multiple charges, including:

  • Possession of Marijuana

  • Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 (between 4 and 200 grams)

  • Evading Arrest Detention with Vehicle

  • Evading Arrest on Foot

Additionally, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed a hold on Reynoso after it was determined he is in the country illegally.
