The Arlington Fire Department responded Thursday afternoon, October 30th, to a reported structure fire at The Vine Apartments in the 700 block of Crescent Drive.
When firefighters arrived, smoke was visible from the top floor of a three-story building. Crews quickly began an interior fire attack while Truck 1 performed vertical ventilation to release heat and smoke. Their efforts successfully contained the fire to the attic, preventing it from spreading further through the complex.
Euless Fire Department provided mutual aid at the scene.
One occupied unit was displaced, and several neighboring apartments sustained water damage during firefighting operations. Fortunately, no residents or firefighters were injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Arlington Fire Department’s Fire Marshal’s Office.
