On Friday, November 28, Irving Police officers were alerted by the FLOCK camera system that a stolen vehicle had entered the city. An officer quickly located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Alan David Figueroa, was detained without incident.
Police confirmed the vehicle was stolen. During a search, officers found a small bag containing fentanyl. Figueroa was taken into custody and booked into the Irving Jail at 2:37 p.m.
He is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B under one gram.
Investigators also learned that Figueroa was previously arrested in Dallas in May 2025. In that case, he was charged with Evading Arrest on Foot, Resisting Arrest, Failure to Identify, and Possession of Cocaine. He later accepted a plea agreement and received two years of deferred probation on the drug charge in August.
With this new arrest in Irving, Figueroa could now face sentencing for the earlier cocaine case in addition to the new charges.
