GRAND PRAIRIE, TX - Grand Prairie police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred Thursday night in the 5400 block of Lake Ridge Parkway.
According to the Grand Prairie Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 8:30 p.m. on December 25, 2025, after an adult male was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the roadway. Grand Prairie Fire Department medics pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
Police said the driver involved remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with investigators. At this time, no charges are expected.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 42-year-old Roger Torres, after notifying next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation as officers continue to review the circumstances surrounding the collision.
