FLOWER MOUND, TX - A Lantana woman was killed Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash on Justin Road in Highland Village, according to local authorities.
Around 11:41 a.m. on December 26, Highland Village Fire Department and Flower Mound Police responded to a major accident in the 3500 block of Justin Road (FM 407) near Chinn Chapel. Emergency responders found a passenger car and a pickup truck that had been involved in a collision.
Three people inside the passenger car were transported to area hospitals. One of the passengers, identified as 78-year-old Nora Lee Pasquale of Lantana, was later pronounced deceased at a Flower Mound hospital. The two other occupants of the car were also hospitalized, with one reported to have sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was not seriously injured.
FM 407 was closed for approximately three hours while Flower Mound Police investigated the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
