Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Monday night in South Dallas.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 9:45 p.m. on December 15 in the 6000 block of Highland Hills Drive. When officers arrived, they found 29-year-old Charles Hibbler suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Hibbler to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The case remains under active investigation and is being documented under case number 179214-2025.
