ALEDO, Texas — A 95-year-old man was killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash along Highway 377 near Aledo, according to authorities.
Emergency crews with the Cresson Fire Department, Parker County Hospital District EMS, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded around 11:30 a.m. on May 15, 2026, to a major crash on northbound Highway 377 near Goforth Road.
When first responders arrived, they found two pickup trucks involved in the collision.
Officials said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the victim as 95-year-old John Edsel Goforth.
According to scanner traffic, a second person suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
