IRVING, Texas — An Irving woman was arrested after police say she stabbed her boyfriend with a fork during a domestic dispute at an apartment complex in North Irving.
According to the Irving Police Department, officers responded at approximately 8:27 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, to a reported stabbing at the Grand Riviera Apartments in the 2800 block of West Walnut Hill Lane.
When officers arrived, they found a woman outside the apartment visibly upset and yelling. Officers then contacted the 45-year-old victim, who said he was in a dating relationship with the woman, identified as 27-year-old Anasha Bradley.
The victim told police the couple had been arguing because Bradley believed he was talking to another woman.
According to the investigation, the victim was in his bedroom talking on the phone when Bradley entered the room and stabbed him twice in the right arm with a fork before leaving the apartment.
Officers observed visible puncture wounds on the victim's arm that appeared consistent with being caused by a fork.
Bradley was located in the apartment complex parking lot a short time later and taken into custody.
She was booked into the Irving Jail and charged with Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
