PARKER COUNTY, Texas - Three people died after a house fire broke out late Monday night in South Parker County, according to Parker County Emergency Services District 6. Crews were sent to the blaze on Lake Country Drive around 9:51 p.m. on August 17, after dispatchers received reports that a structure was burning and that three occupants could not be accounted for. When firefighters reached the home, flames had already engulfed the entire structure. Crews launched an aggressive attack to knock down the fire while simultaneously searching the residence for the missing residents. All three individuals were found inside and were pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the victims have not yet been released and will be confirmed by the Medical Examiner’s Office once next-of-kin notifications are complete. The Parker County Fire Marshal’s Office has taken over the investigation to determine what sparked the deadly fire.
