FORT WORTH, Texas - A 47-year-old Fort Worth man has been sentenced to 45 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance following two drug arrests.
Lytrell Marquise Jordan entered the guilty plea in a case prosecuted by the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office Narcotics Unit.
The case began in October 2024, when Fort Worth Police Department narcotics officers stopped Jordan and seized 40 fentanyl pills, more than 100 grams of methamphetamine and approximately four pounds of marijuana.
Jordan was charged and later released on bond while the case was pending.
In April 2026, authorities arrested Jordan again while he was still on bond from the 2024 case. Investigators said he was found with 57 grams of methamphetamine.
Based on the quantity and the way the methamphetamine was packaged, Jordan was charged with possessing the drug with intent to deliver. His bond was subsequently denied while the case proceeded.
Prosecutors said Jordan has multiple previous convictions, including offenses involving narcotics and domestic violence.
Jordan pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and was sentenced to 45 years in prison.
