DALLAS, Texas — Eleven Medical City Healthcare hospitals across North Texas have earned national recognition in the 2026 Healthgrades America's Best Hospitals for Specialty Care awards, including Medical City Las Colinas, which received an award for emergency care.
The annual awards recognize hospitals for clinical outcomes in specialties such as cardiac care, orthopedic surgery, joint replacement, gastrointestinal surgery and vascular surgery.
New for 2026 is the Emergency Hospitalization Excellence Award, which evaluates patient outcomes for 12 medical conditions, including heart attacks, respiratory failure and strokes.
Medical City Las Colinas was among three hospitals in the healthcare system to receive the emergency hospitalization distinction, joining Medical City Dallas and Medical City Weatherford.
“These recognitions reflect the expertise and dedication of our care teams and their focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care,” said Allen Harrison, president of Medical City Healthcare.

The specialty awards are designed to help patients identify hospitals with strong outcomes for particular treatments and procedures.
“Finding a hospital that excels in a given procedure or treatment can transform a patient's health trajectory,” said Dr. Alana Biggers, medical advisor at Healthgrades.
“We're proud to recognize Medical City Healthcare for its top-tier performances and commend its team for delivering exceptional patient outcomes when it matters most.”
