Euless, Texas - A predawn collision involving commercial vehicles turned deadly in Euless over the weekend, according to local police. Euless officers and fire crews were called out around 2:57 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2026, to a serious crash on westbound State Highway 183, also known as Airport Freeway, close to American Boulevard.
When first responders got to the scene, they found that an adult man had been thrown from one of the vehicles involved. He was declared dead at the site by medical personnel. A second person hurt in the wreck was rushed to a nearby hospital and is listed in serious condition.
The crash forced authorities to shut down the westbound lanes of Highway 183 for several hours near the American Boulevard interchange as investigators worked the scene. Those lanes have since reopened to traffic.
Euless police say the circumstances that led to the crash are still being examined. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or surveillance video of the area to come forward and contact the Euless Police Department.
