Waco Police Officers responded to a single-vehicle fatal crash on the Northbound bridge of the Twin bridges on Highway 6 at 3:31 p.m.
Officers arrived on the scene and learned that a Chevy Silverado had struck the curb before overcorrecting and striking both sides of the bridge. The truck overturned, and the single male occupant was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on scene.
47-year-old Jeremie Simonsen has been identified as the victim in the fatal crash.
