Alabama's "Lawn Enforcement Officer" Rodney Smith Jr., known for his nationwide journey offering free lawn care services to those in need, is on a mission to visit all 50 states and mow lawns for first responders. This week, his mission brought him to Arlington, Texas.

Arlington Police Officer Carla Strauser, who has dedicated nearly three decades of service to the Arlington community, is renowned for her role as the coordinator of the annual Santa Cops program. This program delivers toys and gifts to numerous deserving families during the holiday season.

In response to Rodney's gesture, Arlington Police officials expressed their gratitude, stating, "We thank Rodney for helping Officer Strauser and for spreading kindness across Texas and beyond! And thank you Officer Strauser for all you do for the Arlington community!"
