The Dallas Police Department is continuing its investigation into the 2012 murder of 24-year-old Tiyannia Shead.
On August 10, 2012, Ms. Shead was discovered deceased in the lake at Willam Blair Jr. Park, located at 3000 Rochester Street. Her body was found by individuals who were walking in the area.
Dallas Fire Rescue responded to the scene and retrieved Ms. Shead from the water. Detectives involved in the case suspect that she may have been placed inside a storage tote prior to being submerged in the lake.
