The Temple Police Department is investigating a car crash that left one individual deceased.
At around 6:15 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of SH 317 and Little Mexico Rd. The incident involved two vehicles and a total of four occupants.
One of the vehicles, carrying three occupants, collided with the other vehicle, which had a sole occupant. As a result of the collision, two occupants in the same vehicle sustained severe injuries, while the remaining two occupants suffered minor injuries.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the scene and transported all four occupants to a nearby local hospital for immediate medical attention.
Unfortunately, one patient succumbed to their injuries on September 29, 2023, while the second patient remains in critical condition.
No one else was injured.
