In the early hours of September 30, 2023, at approximately 3:00 AM, Dallas Police officers responded to a stabbing incident in the 3700 block of Colonial Ave in South Dallas.
According to preliminary investigations, a male suspect and a female victim were engaged in an argument when the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim. The suspect fled the scene before the arrival of law enforcement officers.
Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for medical treatment. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The incident is currently under active investigation by the Dallas Police Department and will be documented under case number 175553-2023.
