On October 20, 2023, at approximately 12:30 pm, Dallas Police responded to an emergency call at the 10000 block of Harry Hines Blvd near Northwest Highway intersection in Northwest Dallas. The preliminary investigation determined that when officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man who had been shot behind a vacant business.
Emergency medical services were dispatched, and Dallas Fire Rescue personnel arrived on the scene. Despite their efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim remains unknown at this time. The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office will assist in the process of identifying the deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 187770-2023.
