On November 21st, 2023, tragedy struck as a single-engine Mooney M20 aircraft crashed near the intersection of Park Boulevard and Midway Road at approximately 6:00 pm. The pilot lost their life in the unfortunate incident.
Authorities, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
