Late-Night Fire at Chipotle on West 7th Street in Fort Worth

Last night, at 2:25 am, Engine 6 responded to a smoke investigation in the 2900 block of West 7th Street. While attempting to locate the source of the smoke, another call was received for a commercial structure fire in the 3000 block, specifically at the Chipotle restaurant.

Upon arrival, Engine 6 discovered smoke-stained windows and black smoke billowing from the Chipotle building. The firefighting crew swiftly deployed two attack lines from the engine to combat the blaze. Fortunately, the fire was successfully brought under control within a commendable 20-minute timeframe.

The firefighting efforts involved a coordinated response, utilizing a total of 6 engines, 1 truck, and 2 quints. The incident, from the initial dispatch to the complete extinguishing of the fire, spanned just over 2 hours.

Despite the intensity of the blaze, there were no reported injuries. Presently, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
