DWI Arrest and Major Collision at Haslet Intersection Leads to Temporary Road Closure

Last night, on December 4th, around 9 pm, Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office district patrol and City of Haslet patrol units responded to a significant collision at the intersection of Harmon Road and Keller Hicks Road in the City of Haslet. The crash involved two passenger cars, both sustaining major front-end damage.

Emergency services were quick to the scene, and one of the drivers was transported to a nearby hospital due to injuries from the collision. The other driver was arrested on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and subsequently taken to the Tarrant County Jail.

In response to the incident, the intersection at Harmon Road and Keller Hicks Road was temporarily closed for approximately two hours to facilitate investigation and cleanup efforts. The collaborative efforts of Fort Worth Police, Fort Worth Fire Rescue, and MedStar Ambulance were crucial in managing the situation.
